Vet Courses
What is Vocational Education & Training?
When you apply to Australia, you have the chance to apply for vocational education & training (VET) which allows the applicant to learn specific practical skills for specific jobs. It is the ideal route for those students who wish to find an alternative and quicker way into the workforce while focusing on real-world and niche-based skills.
Benefits of VET in Australia
Real-time experience for the first-timers.
Ability to join the workforce in terms of the gap year.
Plenty of options to update, develop and even improve your skills on your chosen VET skills.
Up To-date skills to ensure that you can choose other majors that opt for similar skill sets.
Who Offers VET?
Registered Training Organizations (RTOs) that ensure your qualification of being trained and nationally recognised.
RTO includes private colleges and even TAFE (technical & further education Institutes) which allows applicants to find a full set of registered RTOS to ensure proper certification.
CRICOS allows the Australian Government to monitor and assess the overall education of international students and ensure the quality is always high standard.
Entry Requirements
This varies depending on the course you are interested in. While some may require the completion of a certain level of diplomas or skill sets, some might not have any pre-requisite.
Literacy and basic numeracy are necessary for most entry processes. In addition to this, some might even require applicants to showcase portfolios and attend interviews to ensure the result.
If you are not eligible for the course, you are always eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This allows the applicant’s previous work history and experiences to be potentially recognised and meet the requirements as necessary.
